Mary Ann Harrell

Mary Ann Harrell, 69, of Ballinger, Texas, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 28, 2022.

She was born on Wednesday, May 13, 1953, to Gene and Jackie (Whitten) Ercanbrack, in Amherst, Texas.  She attended Littlefield High School and in 1973, moved to Ballinger, Texas, which she called home. She attended Howard College in Brownwood, Texas where she graduated in 1995 as a Med Tech.  She then spent 21 years at Heritage Oaks Nursing Home, until retiring in 2015.  Mary was a hardworking, independent woman that raised two independent daughters. She loved watching her Soaps, Survivor, and Grey’s Anatomy.  But above all, she loved her family.  She had six grandchildren, two of whom she raised, and eighteen great-grandchildren who "hung the moon.”  Always by her side was her faithful dog, Blue.

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents; grandchildren, Summer Newton and Tanner Keeney; great-grandson Liam Stewart; and brother Carol Gene Ercanbrack.

She is survived by her daughters, Charlie Horton and Brandy Harrell; grandchildren LaCrisha Castro, Carlos Cavazos, Avery Rock, BreAnn Rock; brother Danny Ercanbrack; sister Linda Tiller; and her dog, Blue.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
