Ronnie Wayne Lange

Ronnie Wayne Lange, 56, of San Angelo, died Saturday, May 14, 2011 at his home from complications of diabetes. He was born December 26, 1954 in Ballinger to Walter O. Lange, Jr. and Mollie Jansa Lange.


He attended school at Olfen and graduated from St. Joseph High School in Rowena in 1973. After completing his studies at TSTI in Waco, he received an associate of applied science certification in 1975 and was employed since then at San Angelo Community Medical Center, most recently as Chief Engineer. Ron’s family appreciates and thanks the Community Medical Center family of Ron’s co-workers who were a big part of his life.

A vigil service to celebrate Ron’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, in St. Boniface Church, Olfen. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 19, at St. Boniface Cemetery, Olfen, with his brother, Deacon Stanley Lange, conducting the services.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Walter and Ida Lange, Sr. and Louis and Amalia Jansa. Surviving Ronnie are his brothers, Stanley and wife, Janice, of Miles and Carl and wife, Deanna, of San Angelo, as well as his loving nieces and nephews: Amy and Bill Fuchs, Michele and Pat Dierschke, Michael and Melanie Lange, Alison and Brad Romike and Mark Lange and their families. Ron was a beloved uncle who enjoyed the company of his nieces and nephews and their children at family gatherings.
