Weldon David Landers

Weldon David Landers, 84, of Ballinger passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Senior Care of San Angelo.

He was born February 22, 1927 in Robert Lee, Texas to David Claud and Ethel Elizabeth (Wilson) Landers, both of whom preceded him in death. He proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. He was employed as a crane operator for a Houston construction company.

Weldon is survived by two daughters, Linda Landers Larson of Austin, and Sharon Sellers of Leander; a son, Larry Don Landers of Pearland; and a brother, Wilborn Landers of San Angelo. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 9 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. A graveside service conducted by his nephew, Walt Landers, will be held Thursday, November 10 at 2:00 pm at Sanco Cemetery near Robert Lee.
