"Tooter" W. F. Fenton

“Tooter” W. F. Fenton, III, age 68, of Miles passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo.

He was born November 14, 1943 in Coleman, Texas to Wanzer Fisher, II and Lucille Fenton, both of whom preceded him in death. Tooter lived and worked in the area all his life. He was a self-employed contractor for over 50 years.

He is survived by his two sons, Willy Fenton and wife, Rhonda, and W. F. Fenton, IV and wife, Tammy, all of Orange, Texas; his daughter, Weda Pyburn and husband, Doyle Wayne, of Lake Ivie; grandsons, Wayne Pyburn and wife, Jessi, of Orange, Fisher Pyburn of Lake Ivie, Hayden Fenton of Orange, Gage Fenton of Brownwood, and Zack Fenton of Orange; granddaughters, Scarlett Pyburn of Lake Ivie, Savannah Fenton of Brownwood, and Alex Fenton of Orange; one great-grandchild, Kimber Pyburn of Orange; and ex-wife, Charlotte Fenton of Lake Ivie. Also surviving is his dog, Square Jaws, who was Tooter’s sidekick, running partner, and constant companion.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Laura Campbell for being so supportive and a close companion to him.

Tooter will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

There will be a time of viewing and visitation on Friday, December 9 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. Funeral service will be Saturday, December 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Lange Funeral Home Chapel.
