Bobby Earl Curry

Bobby Earl Curry, 82, of Amarillo passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011 at an Amarillo hospital.

He was born on January 16, 1929 in Norton, TX to Aubrey and Jewel (Isabell) Curry. He served with the US Army Air Corp during WW II and upon returning he married Helen Reese on December 4, 1948 in Ballinger. She preceded him in death on June 6, 2003. He was also preceded by a grandson, Todd Christopher Curry.

Bobby and Helen moved to Amarillo in 1959 were he spent many years working for the FAA as an air and refrigeration engineer. His joys in life were motorcycles (Harleys) and fishing, his passion was cooking (anything and everything).
He is survived by sons, Phil Curry and wife, Julie of Ft .Worth and Chris Curry of San Angelo and a sister, Audene Cope of Katy.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, December 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Ballinger.
