Tilda Alyne Holland

Tilda Alyne Holland, 72, of Miles passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at her residence.

She was born February 7, 1939 to Austin and Lounette (Rezzlle) Alexander and married Billie Holland in 1969. He preceded her in death May 27, 1987. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was an “all around Granny” who lovingly cooked and sewed for her family. She loved and took care of everyone.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Buddy Hudson; and a brother-in-law, Don Heald.

Alyne (“Granny”) is survived by her son, Austin Holland and his wife, Terri, of Miles and daughter, Eppie Houston and husband, Jeff, of San Angelo; sisters, Pat Thomas and husband, Fred, of Tennyson, Jan Heald of Lake Ivie; brother, Ronnie Alexander and wife, Robin, of Lake Ivie; grandchildren, Jeffrey and Nikki Houston; Echo, Regan, and Billie Holland; great-grandchildren, Jayden and Jordan Houston and Kotie Holland. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, December 17 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. A graveside service will be held Sunday, December 18 at 3:00 p.m. at Miles Cemetery.
