Lucille Erma Banfield

Lucille Banfield, 91, of Ballinger passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Central Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation in Ballinger.

She was born December 17, 1920 in Millersview to Henry and Martha (Jones) Flippin. She was employed as a waitress, and she married Richard C. Banfield in 1971. He preceded her in death May 1, 2010.

Lucille is survived by her children, Barbara Banfield of Irvine, CA, Richard C. Banfield, Jr. of San Angelo, and Jerry H. Smith of Ballinger. Also surviving are five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Ballinger Evergreen Cemetery.
