Olga (Wilde) Sonnenberg

Olga (Wilde) Sonnenberg of Mereta passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the age of 92 at a hospital in San Angelo.

She was born January 19, 1920 to Edward and Minnie (Lentz) Wilde in Westphalia, Texas. Olga spent most of her life caring for her children and wonderful husband. Olga married the love of her life, Jesse Sonnenberg, on October 23, 1942 at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in San Angelo, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

Olga is survived by her husband, Jesse Sonnenberg; her daughter, Priscilla Tonne and husband, Benny, of Eola; her sons, Dalton and wife, Theresa, of Paint Rock, Dennis of San Angelo, Phillip and wife, Myra, of Lowake, Rick and wife, Linda, of Ballinger; as well as 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren

Rosary will be recited on Monday, February, 6 at 7:00 p.m. at Lange Funeral Home Chapel in Ballinger. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, February 7 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rowena with Fr. Hugh Wade celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
