Jo Ann (Eubank) Daugherty

Jo Ann (Eubank) Daugherty of Austin, formerly of Ballinger and San Angelo, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012 at an Austin hospital at age 82.

She was born October 7, 1929 in Ballinger to Joseph Maxwell and Adella (Bartlett) Eubank, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Daniel Allen Daugherty November 17, 1951 in San Angelo, and they were members of St. Luke United Methodist Church in San Angelo. Jo Ann was a registered nurse. She and her husband lived and worked in San Angelo for several years. He preceded her in death October 14, 1989.

Jo Ann is survived by her sons, Daniel Allen Daugherty, Jr. of Austin and Max Daugherty of Pearland; her daughter, Adella Ann Frits of San Angelo; and a sister, Gayle Vancil and husband, Bob, of Ballinger. Other survivors include several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 29 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. A graveside service will be held Monday, April 30 at 12:00 noon at Ballinger Evergreen Cemetery.
