Neomia Emilene Owens, age 86, died Thursday, May 10, 2012 in Ballinger, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 14th at 1:30 PM at the Ninth Street Church of Christ with Max Pratt and Ed Buckner officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Ballinger under the direction of Lange Funeral Home.

Neomia was born on November 9, 1925 in Crews, Texas. She resided in Ballinger and was employed for thirty years by Drys Manufacturing of Winters. Neomia always put the needs of her family first and exhibited unconditional love to her children.

Neomia was preceded in death by her parents, Miles Sidney Osborne and Lillie Gertrude Hambright; son, Ronnie Owens; sisters, Effie McNeely and Selma Osborne.
Survivors include daughter, Linda Buckner and husband, Ed, of Abilene; sons, Glen Owens and wife, Kathy; Bobby Owens and wife, Susan; Jimmy Owens and wife, Marlena, all of San Angelo; brothers, Therin Osborne and wife, Nila, of Crews; Dee Osborne and wife, Pat, of Houston; grandchildren, Shauna Robinson and husband, Jim; Brian Owens and wife, Jennifer; Todd Owens and wife, JeanAnn; Melanie Crooks and husband, Dusty; Jason Buckner and wife, Tina; Jennifer Hammett and husband, Adam; Chad Owens and Jared Owens. Neomia was blessed with fourteen great-grandchildren.
