Christian (Christie) Brooke Majors

Christian Brooke Majors, 41, of Tulsa, Oklahoma died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 12th. She was born in Lubbock, Texas. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa.



Christie is survived by her parents Kathy and Jake Henry Jr. of Tulsa, her sister and brother in law Katherine Ames and Ray Carpenter of Dallas, and her maternal grandmother Mrs. Dorothy Dankworth of Ballinger, Texas.



Christie was an extremely bright woman who was dedicated to serving others through her professional nursing career.



She had a deep love of animals, particularly horses and dogs, riding from the time she was three and doing so competitively into her early 30s. She delighted in the company of her three dogs and was especially proud that several of the offspring of her weimaraners were selected to compete at Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York City.



Christie had a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh. The family mourns her death and thanks God for her time with them.



A private family service will be held in Ballinger, Texas. The family thanks all of Christie’s friends and in particular Johnny Dobson for his significant role in her life.
