Jeffery Dalton Overgard

Jeffery D. Overgard, 49, of Winters passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at his residence.

Jeff was born February 13, 1963 in Nebraska. He graduated from Ballinger High School and became a skilled mechanic. He was employed with Lange Drilling Company in Rowena for many years. He was a proud member of the Rowena Rebels baseball team. He enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Crossroads Gun Club.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Neece Hazelwood, in 1989.

He is survived by a daughter, Shelly Pullin and husband, Justin, and granddaughter Hannah of Rowena; sisters, Linda Gifford of Stephenville and Louise Carter; and a brother, David Overgard.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 9 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rowena with Fr. Ariel Lagunilla officiating. Burial will take place in the Rowena Protestant Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Darrell Wilde, Brent Jones, Roy Sharp, Bill Lange, Tom Schniers, and Mark Kalina.
