Helen Frenzel Wilde

Heaven gained another angel Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Helen Frenzel Wilde went to be with her Savior and loving husband, Herbert, after a short illness, surrounded by her family.

Helen was born November 15, 1924 in Westphalia to Mary Moeller Frenzel and Ben Frenzel. She married Herbert Gus Wilde on August 11, 1948 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rowena. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers of St. Boniface. She was a homemaker all her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; one sister, Regina Schraer; one brother, Alois Frenzel; and sister-in-law, Anna Mae Frenzel.

Helen is survived by her loving family: daughter, Claudia Wilde Droll and husband, Dennis, of Eldorado; son, Thomas Wilde and wife, Debbie, of San Angelo; six grandchildren, Eli Droll and wife Carol, Devon Droll Durand and husband Damian, Ethan Droll, Aaron Wilde and wife Becca and daughter Michaela, Bradley Wilde, and Cory Wilde; two great-grandsons, Donovan and Dalton Durand; one sister, Margaret Matthiesen; three brothers, Lawrence Frenzel, Bennie Frenzel and wife Dorothy, and Bob Frenzel and wife Barbara; ; and sister-in-law, Rose Frenzel.

Rosary will be recited Friday, August 31 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Olfen. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 1 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church with Father Ariel Lagunilla and Msgr. Larry Droll con-celebrating. Pallbearers will be Ethan Droll, Aaron Wilde, Bradley Wilde, Cory Wilde, Gary Schraer, and Herbert Harrell. Honorary pallbearers will be Damian Durand, Gregory Frenzel, Richard Lange, and James Matthiesen.
