Victoria Singleton Mirto, 72, of Austin passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012 at her Austin residence.

She was born September 27, 1939 in Ballinger, Texas to I. V. and Ednaearle “Tommye” (Parks) Singleton. Victoria and Robert Louis Mirto were married April 12, 1958 in Japan. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her step father, Samuel Parks, and her sister, Jacqueline “Dee” Slaughter.

Victoria is survived by her husband, Robert Mirto of Austin; three daughters, Mary V. Mirto and husband, Marty Spiller, and Valerie L. Thomson and husband, Rodney, all of Austin, and Lori K. Pierce and husband, Greg, of Dallas; a son, Robert “Logan” Mirto of San Francisco, CA; and stepsister, Tommye Jean Lindsey and husband, Ken, of Russellville, AL. Also surviving are niece, Sadedra Slay of Russellville, AL; nephew, Samuel Nall of Ballinger; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will take place Friday, September 7 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, September 8 at 10:00 a.m. at Ballinger Evergreen Cemetery.
