Lanelle "Nell" Davis

Marjory Lanelle Davis, our beloved wife, mother, Meme, and friend, is now resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior as of September 17, 2012.

The family will be accepting visitors from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 20th at Lange Funeral Home, Ballinger. The funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 21st at 9th Street Church of Christ, Ballinger with burial in Old Runnels Cemetery.

Nell was born on April 18, 1932 in Norton to Jesse and Arlene Hambright. After graduating Norton High School, Nell married the love of her life, Marlin Davis on February 1, 1951 and shared 61 wonderful years together.

She is survived by her loving family: her husband, Marlin Davis; her daughters, Nelda Griffin and her husband Dan of San Angelo and Twila Teague and her husband David of San Antonio; her grandchildren, Heather McCulley and her husband Monty of College Station, Ashley Henderson and her husband Josh of Waco, Greg Griffin of Dallas, and Cash Teague and his wife Lauren of Waco; and her great-grandchildren, Caleb McCulley, Ashlyn McCulley, and Clara McCulley; her siblings, Ouida Dickinson of Ballinger, Winford Hambright and wife Jean of Odessa, and Kenneth Hambright and wife Shirley of Abilene. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Loveta Gray; her brother-in-law, Ronnie Davis and Francis; as well as the rest of her extended family and a host of friends.

Nell will live on in our hearts forever.
