Modene Jones Caudle

Modene (Jones) Caudle of Ballinger, TX went to be with the Lord on September 29, 2012 at Ballinger Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 87.

Modene was born on May 25, 1925 in Crews, Texas to Ralph Wayne and Florence Ellen (Johnson) Jones. She spent over 38 years as an Air Force wife, living in many cities throughout the United States and overseas.

She was preceded in death by her parents: a sister, Yvonne Rainwater and; a son, Randy Ted Caudle

Modene is survived by her daughter, Gayle Sponaugle of Harrington, DE; sisters, Laverne Goodfellow of Ballinger, and Sandra Goehring and husband, Don, of Paint Rock, and a brother, Billy Wayne Jones and wife, Ruth, of Sterling City. Four grandchildren, Sandra “Sandy” Gayle Gallowy, Gwen Marie Long, Jennifer Caudle Moore, and Jason Caudle and 8 gret grandchildren also survive.

There will be a visitation for family and friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, October 1, 2012 at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. Funeral services will be held
At 2:00 pm on Tuesday October 2, 2012 at Lange Funeral Home Chapel with Lynn Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Crews Cemetery.
