Carolina Arellano Gonzales

Carolina Gamez Gonzales, 89, of Ballinger passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2012 in Ballinger Memorial Hospital.

Carolina was born April 3, 1923 in Ballinger, Texas to Higinio and Maria (Gamez) Arellano. She married Daniel Gonzales on November 23, 1960 in San Angelo. He preceded her in death in 1971. As a housekeeper, she was a hard-working, loyal employee, striving to be independent and take care of herself as long as possible.
She loved flowers and music.

Carolina is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Joe Lopez. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Lydia Bennett; Sandra Mata and husband, Clemente;
Paul Pena; Michael Pena and Lisa.

There will a visitation time on Friday, October 5 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 6 at 2:00 p.m. at the Latin-American Cemetery with Robert Gamez officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Harvey Aguirre, Eugene Aguirre, Gabriel Aguirre, Ray Aguirre, Paul Pena, and Michael Pena.
