Mary Angelina Nieto

Our beloved mother, Mary Angelina Cavazos Nieto, went to be with our Heavenly Father on October 22, 2012.

She was born July 30, 1945 in Robstown, Texas to Domingo, Sr. and Concepcion (Delgado) Cavazos. Mary married Felix Nieto who preceded her in death in 2003. She was a homemaker and raised a large family.

Mary is survived by her children, Joe Cavazos and wife, Mary Ann, of Artesia, NM, Ricky Nieto of San Angelo, Isabell Nieto of Ballinger, Pearl Nieto of Carlsbad, NM, Rachael Nieto of San Angelo, Felix Nieto, Jr., Pedro Nieto, Sr. and wife, Helen, all of Ballinger, Ruben Bradford Nieto and Stella Maria Bradford Nieto both of Anchorage, AK, and Henry Mathews Nieto of Artesia, NM. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.


Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 25 at Lange Funeral Home Chapel in Ballinger with Brother Woodward from Abilene officiating. Burial will follow in the Latin-American Cemetery. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
