Benita (Eggemeyer) Bankston, 88, of Houston passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in Houston.

Visitation will be Friday, November 2 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger, with a Rosary at 7:30 in the chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 3 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rowena. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Dwain Bankston, two daughters, Karen Carpenter and Deanna Mueller, and two sisters, Mary Ann Book and Delphine Kleman. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Michelle McNeese.
