Dalton Francis Sonnenberg

Dalton Francis Sonnenberg, 69, of Eola passed away Monday, December 3, 2012 at his residence.

He was born November 15, 1943 in San Angelo, Texas to Jesse Charles and Olga (Wilde) Sonnenberg. His mother preceded him in death. Dalton married Theresa Werner on November 30, 1963. He was a farmer and a member of St. Phillip’s Church in Eola.

Dalton is survived by his wife, Theresa, of Eola; his children, Stacy Sonnenberg and wife, Brenda, of Paint Rock; Scott Sonnenberg and wife Angie, of Lubbock; Clifton Sonnenberg and wife, Kerri, of San Angelo; and Jill Kellermeier and husband, John of Mereta. Also surviving is his father, Jesse C. Sonnenberg of Mereta; and grandchildren, Jonathan Taylor, Beth Kellermeier, Landon Sonnenberg, Cooper Sonnenberg, and Cole Kellermeier.

A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, December 5 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Rowena with Fr. Hugh Wade officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Meals for the Elderly.
