Louise Kotrlik

Louise Kotrlik, 87, of Ballinger passed away Friday, February 15, 2008 at Cedar Manor Nursing and Rehab Center in San Angelo.

She was born May 8, 1920 in to August and Ella Moeller Haechten.
On July 29, 1940she married Edward Kotrlik, who preceded her in death in 1996. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and St. Mary’s Altar Society.

Mrs. Kotrlik is survived by her children, John J. and wife, Judy of Vancouver, WA, Carolyn McKnight and husband, Harold of San Angelo, Eddie C. and wife, Barbara of Merkel, Joe W. and wife, Judy of Baton Rouge, LA, Daniel J. and his fiancé, Jackie of Dallas, Sharon of Bay City, Kenneth A. of Orange, Robert R. of Ballinger and Alice Goldberg and husband, Britton of Denver, CO.

Also surviving are her brothers, August Haechten of Lowake and Alan J. Haechten of San Angelo and her sister, Mary Ann Halfmann of Garden City

She was preceded in death by her son Ricky J. Kotrlik.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2008 at Lange Funeral Home Chapel in Ballinger. Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Hugh Wade officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Rowena. Members of the Ballinger Knights of Columbus will serve as pallbearers.

The family requests memorials be made to the Diabetes and Heart Associations.
