Mrs. Nancy Harmon, 83, formerly of Rowena, left this life and passed on to her eternal life with Christ on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Fairview HealthCare in Fairfield, Texas.
Nance was preceded in death by her late husbands, William Harmon, Horace Epps, and Ralph Craft. She is survived by daughter-in-law, Patty Harmon, and granddaughter, Jasmine Harmon of Washington State.
Nancy was born in Pennsylvania on October 23, 1929. After Nancy and Ralph married they came to Texas and lived in Galveston in the late fifties then moved to the Freestone County area in the late sixties or early seventies where Nancy lived the biggest part of her life. Many friends and loved ones will miss Nancy greatly.
Nancy’s life was filled with reaching out to those around her. She did not meet a stranger and always had a smile and a hug for her loved ones. Nancy had no children of her own but had an abundance of loved ones who looked upon her as a sister, mother, grandmother, or wonderful friend. She was giver beyond one’s imagination and gave sometimes overlooking her own needs.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, February 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas where her first love, Ralph Craft, is buried. Pastor Buddy Turner of Fairfield Christian Center, Jose Vasquez of Lily of the Valley in Teague, and Bob Sullivan will officiate.
