Richard "Rick" Dee Moon

Richard Dee “Rick” Moon, 82, of San Angelo and formerly of Ballinger, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Cedar Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in San Angelo.

He was born November 17, 1930 in Loraine, Texas to Jasper Dee and Willie Mae (Jacobs) Moon. His parents preceded him in death, as well as a son, Ricky Moon.

He is survived by his children, Bonnie Olson of Winter Park, Florida; Mike Moon and wife, Norma, of Kermit; Wayne Young and wife, Pam, of Midland; Holly Kingston of Balmorhea; and Sandy Hendricks and husband, Rodney, of Ft. Stockton; brothers, Harold Moon and wife, Faye, of San Angelo; and Will Moon of Abilene. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.
