Nicolas Lucio Ruiz

Nicolas Ruiz, age 71, of Paint Rock passed away at his residence on February 25, 2008.

He was born on February 14, 1937 in Zaragosa, Mexico. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria del Rosario Ruiz.

He is survived by his children: daughters, Rosa Soto and husband, Filiberto, and Maricela Ruiz; sons, Jose Luis Ruiz and wife, Paulina, and George Ruiz all of Paint Rock. Also surviving are four brothers, Armando Ruiz of Eden, Jesus Ruiz of Coyanosa, Roberto Ruiz of Chicago, Illinois, and Jose Ruiz of Mexico; three sisters, Lupe DeLuna of Del Rio, Erlinda Gloria of Denton, and Elvira of California; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27 at Lange Funeral Home Chapel in Ballinger. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Lange Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at the Paint Rock Cemetery. Pallbearers will be the grandsons: Daniel Ruiz, Filiberto Soto, Jr., Luis Ruiz, Jr., Eric Soto, Robert Ruiz, and Marcos Soto.
