Jo Ann Norred Roberts

Jo Ann (Norred) Roberts, 74, of Ballinger, Texas passed away peacefully at Ballinger’s Central Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Saturday, March 16, 2013.

Jo Ann was born December 16, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas to Virgil Larue Norred and Margret Wilkinson Norred. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Lou Yancy; brother, Larry Wayne Norred; stepsons, Dennis Wayne Roberts, and Daniel Lee Roberts. Jo Ann was a homemaker and an avid fan of the Texas Rangers.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bill Roberts of Ballinger; daughter, Kristie Roberts, and grandson, Shawn D. Roberts both of Efland, North Carolina; brother, William (Bill) Norred of Burnet, Texas; sister, Gay Nell Arthur of Marble Falls, Texas; stepdaughter, Janie Fletcher and husband, Randy, of Odessa, Texas; stepson, Monte Joe Roberts of Christoval, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Jo Ann Roberts will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20 at Lange Funeral Home Chapel in Ballinger. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
