Janice Selma Lott

Janice Selma (Mike) Lott, 89, of San Angelo, Texas and formerly of Kansas City, passed away early Wednesday morning March 19, 2008 at Regency House Care Center in San Angelo.

She was born September 10, 1918 in Kansas City, Missouri to Louis D. and Fannie Lustig Mike. She graduated from high school in Kansas City in 1934-1935. In the 1930’s her parents moved to Bryan, Texas, and Jan joined them there about 1937.

Janice married Gene Lott in January of 1949, and the couple moved to Chicago. In 1959 they moved back to Kansas City, MO, but in 1992 they moved across the state line into Kansas. In September 2005 they moved to San Angelo, Texas. The couple had no children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, by an older brother, Bertram J. Mike, and was the last surviving member of this family. She is survived by her husband, Gene of San Angelo, Texas.

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Moriah Cemetery South in Kansas City, Missouri with Rev. Clayton Cook officiating. There will be a time of visitation and viewing beginning at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
