Benicia N. Cavazos

Benicia N. Cavazos, 93 of Ballinger went to be with the Lord Friday evening, March 28, 2008, at Shannon Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Rosary will be held at 7 pm on Sunday. March 30, 2008 at Lange Funeral Home Chapel in Ballinger. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 10 am Monday, March 31st at St. Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Bob Baden officiating. Burial will follow in the Latin American Cemetery.

She was born on September 12, 1914 in Trickham, Texas to Jesus and Maria (Torres) Noriega. She married Alfred Cavazos in Karnes City in 1933. He preceded her in death on July 6, 1975.
She was also preceded by her parents, and sons, Freddie Cavazos in 1961 and Ramon Cavazos in 1986.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ballinger.

Survivors include daughters Eloise Chapa and husband Roberto of Corpus Christi, TX; Elva Lopez and husband Paul of Ft. Worth, TX; Anadelia Salinas and husband Adolfo of Cleburne, TX; Minerva Herrera and husband Andres of Austin, TX; sons Delfido Cavazos of Ballinger, TX; and George Cavazos of Ballinger, TX; with numerous beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
