Nell Marie Battle

Nell Marie Triggs Battle, 50, loving mother and sister, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2008 in Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo.

Nell was born on October 10, 1957 in Ballinger, Texas to Louis and Dorothy (Wiseman) Triggs. She was a faithful member and musician for the Mount Moriah Baptist Church some years and recently became a member of Jesus Christ Church in Ballinger.

She was a 1977 graduate of Ballinger High School and was employed at several Medical Care Centers as a nurse’s aide.

Nell leaves to cherish her loving memory a wonderful and loving son, Aaron J. Quiroga; three sisters, Thella Henderson of Ballinger, Maggie Childress and her husband, Anthony, of San Antonio, and Leah Wiseman of Houston; two brothers, David Triggs and his wife, Caroline, of Abilene and Offie Wiseman and wife, Marie, of Plano; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 6th at Jesus Christ Church in Ballinger with Lynn Smith and Fritz Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are with Lange Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Steve Brown, Claude Johnson, Corey Calvin, Bobby Ray Ornalez, Larry Carson, David Triggs, Charles Johnson,, and Blas Vasquez. Honorary pallbearers are Offie Wiseman, Micky Balkum, Robert Owens, and Theodore Battle.

The family wishes to express their most sincere thanks and appreciation for the many, many expressions of sympathy during our period of bereavement. Your kindness will always be dear to our hearts. We love each of you so much.
