Daniel John Jansa

Daniel Jansa, 76, of Wichita Falls passed away Monday, September 23, 2013.

He was born December 1, 1936 in Miles to George and Angelina (Schwertner) Jansa. After graduating from high school, Daniel attended Texas Tech University and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree. He used his degree to work in agriculture chemical business. On January 15, 1958, Daniel married Betty Low in Lubbock, Texas. They shared over 55 years together.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; his daughter, Lanell Carrell-Peeples and husband Denny; grandchildren, Dr. Daniel Carrell and Dr. John Carrell and wife,Dr. Jacalyn Carrell. Also surviving are brothers, Fred Jansa and wife, Judy of Miles, James Jansa and wife Reiko of Ft. Walton Beach, FL., and Lester Jansa and wife, Mary of St. Lawrence.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Friday, September 27 at Lange Funeral Home Chapel in Ballinger. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 28 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Miles. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Rowena. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Michael J. Foxx Parkinson Foundation or a favorite charity.
