Wanda Halford

Wanda Halford, 81, passed away peacefully at her home in Ballinger on September 29, 2013. She was born in Marlow, OK on July 21, 1932 to Aubra Bryson Crawford and Ruby Lucelle Bowman.

Wanda was a nurse and homemaker. She loved to embroider and made gifts for many people in town, as well as many of her fellow church members.

Survivors include her children; Richard Barker, Brenda McPherson, Louis Halford, Kathy Brigs, Myron Halford and Darren Halford. Her brothers; Ronnie Crawford, Glen Crawford, Jerry Crawford, Jackie Cawford, Rodger Crawford and Bruce Crawford, her sisters; Louise Nolen and Velta Coates. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her baby sister Joanne Crawford, and her husband J.B. Halford.

Services will be held at 3:00 Tuesday, October 1, at Glory Road Cowboy Church outside of Ballinger, TX. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow, OK. immediately followed by a graveside service at Bailey Cemetery outside of Marlow, OK. Wanda requested that in lieu of flowers to donate to Glory Road Cowboy Church
