Mona Ruth Barr

Mona Barr, 83, of Lubbock passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at her residence.

Mona was born Romonia Ruth Goodloe on May 13, 1930 to Bennett and Peggy Goodloe in Poolville, Texas. She married James Earl Barr on October 22, 1949. Mona was a member of the Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Billy Wayne, and a son Rick Barr.

Mona is survived by her daughter, Kelli Barr Reed and husband Howard of Austin and her grandsons, Trace and Clint Reed.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Ballinger with Rev. Buddy Moore officiating.
