Elizabeth "Dot" Schroeder

Elizabeth “Dot” Schroeder, 76, of Ballinger passed away Monday, February 17, 2014 at Central Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation in Ballinger.

Dot was born on August 2, 1937 to Wesley and Anne Dail (Brown) Bomar in Coleman, Texas. She graduated from Talpa High School. Dot married Berry Schroeder in July 27, 1963 and they shared eleven years together before his passing in November of 1974. Dot was a realtor for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers; Bobby, Tom, James, and Weldon Bomar.

Dot is survived by her son Eric Schroeder of Cedar Creek, TX and daughter Julie Doniger of Rockwall, TX. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Austin Schroeder, Raleigh Schroeder, and Mark Doniger.

A service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 23 at the First Presbyterian Church in Ballinger. A private burial will follow at the Protestant Cemetery in Rowena.
