Ida Leona Hohensee

Ida Leona Hohensee, 93, of Miles passed away Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Ballinger Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Ballinger.

Ida was born November 20, 1914 in Cyclone, Texas to Wilhelm and Frances Fisher.
On December 27, 1934 she married Rudolph Joe Hohensee, who preceded her in death April 30, 1994.

Mrs. Hohensee is survived by her children, Dorothy Jost and husband, Emil, of San Angelo; Rudy Hohensee and wife, Barbara, of Miles; David Hohensee and wife, Eunice, of Wall; and Carolyn Hohensee of Dallas. Also surviving are a sister, Eleanor Zly of Ballinger, 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited Sunday, July 27 at 6:30 p.m. at Lange Funeral Home Chapel in Ballinger. Burial of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 28 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Miles with Fr. Maurice Voity, Fr. Hubert Wade, and Fr. Bhaskar Morugudi officiating. Burial will follow in the Miles Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Gary Jost, Tony Jost, Jeffrey Jost, Scott Hohensee, David Doherty, and Harold Kuntschik. Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters and grandson, Joseph Golovach, Jr.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to a favorite charity.
