Joni Fuller Gray

Joni Lyn Fuller Gray, 50, of Ballinger passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo.

She was born July 2, 1963 to Melvin Fuller and Shirley (Essary) Patterson in San Angelo. After completing high school, Joni attended San Angelo Business College. She married Steven Gray on November 16, 1985 at First Baptist Church in Ballinger and they shared 28 years together. Joni worked for Dr. John Green at the Ballinger Clinic. Joni attended TSTC in Sweetwater where she became a licensed Paramedic. She spent many years as a home health caregiver in and around Ballinger.

She is survived by her parents Melvin Fuller and wife Nancy of San Angelo and Shirley Patterson and husband Dean of Buffalo, TX; husband, Steven; and sons, Steve Gray and wife Donna of Ballinger and Seth Gray and Tosha of Ballinger; her sister Judy Smith and husband Doug of Palestine, TX; nephews Derek and wife Lana and Levi Smith. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Franki, Neo, William, and JJ Gray.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 7 at the First Baptist Church in Ballinger. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Hospice of San Angelo or a favorite charity.
