Margie Ruth Wilson

Margie Ruth Wilson, 84, of San Angelo, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Shannon Medical Center.

She was born July 20, 1929 in Norton, Texas to Roy and Julia (Isbell) Morgan. Margie and Foy E. Wilson were married October 19, 1947 in Ballinger. She was a devoted homemaker of the highest order, considered No. 1 cook and housekeeper by her family. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of San Angelo.

Margie is survived by her husband of 66 years, Foy; her daughter, Susan Garvin and husband, Bill, all of San Angelo; and a son, John Wilson and wife, Kimara, of Marion. Also surviving are five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, at Evergreen Cemetery in Ballinger with Rev. Roger Sidener officiating.
