Taylor Dyess Bowman

December 19, 1997 — July 16, 2014

Taylor Dyess Bowman, 16, of Ballinger, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 as a result of an automobile accident.

She was born December 19, 1997 in San Angelo to Cody and Roxanna Joy (Tillery) Bowman. She was a junior at Ballinger High School where she participated in every Bearcat sport but football.

Taylor was an extraordinary young woman, special and beautiful through and through. She was appreciated by family, friends, teachers, coaches, and anyone who worked with her not only for her abilities but also for her attitude. She was eager to learn and improve, full of goodness and sweetness. If Taylor Bowman was your friend, and she had many, you had a true friend.

Taylor had multiple talents and outstanding athletic ability, but it was who she was—her character and her qualities—that made her excel at what she did. She performed at top speed and at the highest level possible. Sports were her focal point and her passion; sports revealed her character.

Surviving are her parents; sisters, Ashley Byler and husband, Russell, and their son, Ross, and Sydney Bowman all of Ballinger; maternal grandparents, Sandy and Ellen Tillery of Stratford; paternal grandparents, Roy and Toni Bowman of Ballinger; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is also survived by her Fabs; her sweet friend, Royce Harris; and an entire Bearcat nation.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, July 19, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Lange Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 20, at the First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Old Runnels Cemetery. A candlelight service will be held Sunday evening at 9:00 pm at Ballinger High School track field.

Lives will be forever changed by losing her, but lives are forever touched by knowing her. Taylor filled our hearts with immeasurable love and joy.
