Mary Ethel Nichols

Mary Ethel Nichols, age 77, of Winters, died Saturday August 16, 2014.

Mary was born on November 2, 1936 in Colorado City, TX. In 1951, she married William Nichols in Odessa, TX. She was a homemaker and the family moved to Winters in 1962. William and Mary shared 45 years together before his passing on January 30, 1997.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Bettye Moilan; and granddaughter, Christy Nichols.

Survivors include three sons, Jerry Nichols of Brownwood, Jeffrey Nichols of Winters and Greg Nichols of Bronte; and two daughters, Julie Barthelemy of Sonora and Valerie Torres of Schertz. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, August 19 from 6:00-7:30 pm at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. Services will be graveside at Rough Creek Cemetery in Novice at 10:00 AM on Wednesday August 20.
