Demetrio (Slim) (Chota) Zertuche

Demetrio (Slim) (Chota) Zertuche, age 71, of Ballinger died Friday evening, September 26, 2008 in a local nursing home.

He was born December 22, 1936 in Ballinger, Texas to Jesus and Guadalupe Dominguez Zertuche.
He is survived by two sons, Gilbert Zertuche and Daniel Zertuche of Ballinger; a daughter, Freda Perez and husband, Armondo, of Ballinger; grandchildren, Armondo Perez, Jr. and Andrew Perez, Daniel Gil Zertuche, and Chelsey Mari, Jacob, and Joshua Zertuche; a sister, Annie Reyes of Ballinger and two brothers, Oscar Zertuche and wife, Martha, and Jeff Zertuche all of Ballinger.

Rosary will be recited Monday, September 29, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.at Lange Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ballinger with Father Hubert Wade officiating. Private burial services will be at a later time.
