Barbara Nell Connor

Barbara Nell Connor, 68 of Ballinger TX, left us suddenly on Friday Oct. 3. She was born in Ballinger, Texas on Oct. 26, 1945 to Leonard and Nell Connor. She graduated from Ballinger High School in 1964 and Angelo State University in 87 with her RN and in 89 with her BSN. She is survived by her sons, Ron Connor and wife, Shelia, of Fort Worth, and John Connor of San Angelo. Her beloved grandchildren Cade Connor, Stephanie Kresta and husband Dustin, and her precious great grandchildren Hunter and Kason Kresta. Also two brothers Michael Connor of Winters, and John W. Connor of Ballinger. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister-Mary Ellen Slate and daughter in law Janette Connor. Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who’s entire world revolved around her family. For 35 years she selflessly cared for the sick and injured as a CNA then as a RN BSNC. Our family is destroyed by the loss of our matriarch and hero, who with selfless commitment held our family together through even our most recent of tragedies. Visitation will be at Lange Funeral Home Monday Oct.6 from 6-8pm. Memorial Service will be at First United Methodist of Ballinger Oct. 7 at 2pm followed by Graveside at Evergreen Cemetery.
