Gregory Lange

Gregory Lange, 58, of San Angelo passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014 in San Angelo.

He was born December 7, 1955 in Austin, Texas. His parents are Ralph and Felda (Glass) Lange of Olfen. After graduating from Paint Rock High School, Greg worked as a bartender for Bennie’s Bar and Grill in Rowena for many years. He then opened his own bar in Miles, “Just One More”, before going to work at Saddle Bronc in San Angelo. He was elected J.P. for South Runnels County, a position he held for 18 years. He was a life long member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Olfen.

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Ralph.

He is survived by his daughter, Vanessa Lange and his grandchildren Mikel and Betty of San Angelo; his mother, Felda of Olfen; his sisters, Ann Molinaro of Mesquite and Elaine Boggess of Bedford; and a niece, Amanda Shoquist and husband Blaine of Hurst.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 22 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Olfen. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 23 at St. Boniface Catholic Church with Fr. Ariel Lagunilla officiating. Burial will follow at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in Olfen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Boniface Catholic Church Seminarian Burse, St. Boniface Cemetery, or a favorite charity.
