Beatrice Reyes Delagarza

Beatrice DelaGarza 62, of Ballinger died late Friday evening, November 7, 2008 at her residence, surrounded by her family.

She was born on April 28, 1946, in Eden, Texas to Ypolito and Nieves (Lopez) Reyes. She married Cerjio DelaGarza on October 9, 1966 in Ballinger. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church

A Rosary will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Lange Funeral Home Chapel. Celebration of the Mass of Resurrection will be on Monday November 10th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary, Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Ballinger with Fr. Hugh Wade officiating. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Latin-American Cemetery in Ballinger.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Cleo Reyes; and sisters, Lupe Garcia, Amelia Rodriquez, and Lydia Garcia.

She is survived by her husband, Cerjio DelaGarza, Sr. of Ballinger, daughters, Lisa Garcia and husband, Rudy and Sylvia DelaGarza all of Ballinger; sons, Cerjio DelaGarza, Jr. and wife, Candy and Anthony DelaGarza all of Abilene; grandchildren, Destiny, Julie, and Emmanuel DelaGarza of Abilene; sisters, Elidia Lozano of Anson, Maria Escobar of Abilene and Carolina Anaya of Lubbock; brothers, John Reyes of San Angelo and Paul Reyes of Abilene; and brother-in-law, Joe DelaGarza.
