Samuel Jacob Knight

Samuel Jacob Knight, infant son of Bobby and Whitney Knight of Ballinger, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015 in Fort Worth in the loving arms of his mother and father.

He was born Thursday afternoon, February 5, 2015 at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth at 23 weeks gestation.

He was preceded in death by his siblings Jorja and Wyatt Knight.

Samuel is survived by his parents; siblings, Andrea, Zayden, and J.J of Ballinger; grandparents, James and Lisa Power of San Angelo, Glen Richardson and Lisa Kresta of Ballinger, Ray and Josie Henry of Ballinger, and George Knight of Ballinger; aunts and uncles, David and Mellisa Knight of Ballinger, Jeremy and Heather Kalnback of San Angelo, and Bryan and Andrea Green of Murfreesboro, TN; great-grandparents, Sondra and Marvin Power and Laverne Knight, all of San Angelo. Also surviving are numerous cousins, great-aunts, great-uncles, and friends.

A celebration ceremony will be held at 5:30 pm on Saturday, February 21 at Kingdom Streams. Following the ceremony floating lanterns will be released.

“Lord remind me how brief my time on Earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered-how fleeting my life is. You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand. My entire lifetime is just a moment to you, at best, each of us is but a breath…And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is you.”
