Navidad Gonzales

Navidad Gonzales, 80, of Ballinger passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Central Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation in Ballinger.

He was born December 24, 1934 in Nixon, Texas to Reyes and Adelina (Morales) Gonzales. Navidad was a certified bridge welder for most of his life.

Navidad was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his children, Johnny Gonzales, Rosemarie Gonzales Liserio, Felix Gonzales, and Navidad Gonzales, Jr., all of San Antonio; his sisters, Nadine DeLaCruz and husband Joe, Sarita Fisher and husband Charles, Pauline Esquivel and husband Rev. Bascilo, Liz Zuniga and husband Mike Jr., Sylvia Kelly, and Anna Montoya and husband Ambrose; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 23 at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. Services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, April 24 at First Baptist Church in Ballinger with Bro. Bobby Broyles officiating. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
