Bobby Bruce Brem

Bobby Bruce Brem, 76, of Paint Rock, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2009 at the VA Hospital in Big Spring, Texas.

He was born May 5, 1932 in Crane Texas to Joseph and Lilly May (Yaws) Brem. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. On February 26, 1987 he and Martha P. Perez were married in Albuquerque, NM. Bobby drove a school bus for Paint Rock ISD and was a member of St. Mary, Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Ballinger. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a great husband, dad, and granddad, and as a good neighbor.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Martha Brem of Paint Rock; and his children, Joseph Lee Brem of Albuquerque, NM, Jimmy Don Brem of Truth or Consequences, NM, James Bruce Brem of Payson, AZ, David B. Brem of Silver City, NM, Nils David Stansen of Albuquerque, William David Brem of Alta, OK, and a daughter, Sarananda Ruiz of Ballinger. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be recited Tuesday, January 6 at 7:00 p.m. at Lange Funeral Home Chapel in Ballinger. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, January 7 at 10:00 a.m. at St Mary, Star of the Sea Catholic Church with Rev. Hubert Wade officiating.
