Christina Recinsky

Christina Recinsky, 86, of San Angelo and formerly of Rowena passed away Friday, January 9, 2009 at Baptist Retirement Community in San Angelo.

She was born on November 27, 1922 in Rowena to Vaclav and Theresa Strakos Recinsky. She served with the Army Air Wacs as a medical corpsman during WWII. She worked for Monarch Tile in San Angelo for 29 years

Christina was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Willie and Emil; and sisters, Annie Smith and Mary Mucha.

She is survived by her sisters Julie Pospichal of Rowena and Blanche Gesch and husband Bill of Lake Whittney; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Christina Recinsky will be at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 12, 2009 at Rowena Evergreen Cemetery.
