Our precious Anastacia has joined the angels chasing butterflies in heaven. She now plays with the other children at God’s feet where she can enjoy the sun on her face and the wind in her hair.
Anastacia was born April 21, 2004 in Schweinfurt, Germany to her parents, William and Tanja Haney, just moments before her brother Terrell. Anastacia was our special gift who returned to our Lord on April 11, 2009.
Anastacia is survived by her parents, William and Tanja Haney, twin brother, Terrell, and little brother, Shane, all of Paint Rock, Texas; grandparents, Jeff and Janet Haney, and aunt, Reeanne Haney of Nacogdoches, Texas; Opa and Oma Ricky and Katrina King of Ballinger, Texas; uncle, Sean King of Yokosuka, Japan; Oma Nadja Hoehn, uncle and aunt, Dima and Tanja Hoehn of Schweinfurt, Germany. Also surviving are great-grandparents, Lurene Watts, Juanita Thomas, Aubrey and Delores Haney, David and Patricia Horn; and godparents, Brad and Jutta Knutson of Spearfish, South Dakota.
“The Grand Duchess” leaves behind many special people, Ms. Dee Dee, Ms Maple, Ms. Jackie from Small Schools Co-op, and Sheleye from La Esperanza Clinic, to name only a few of the people whose lives she touched and who filled her life with smiles and laughter.
There will be a memorial service for Anastacia on Thursday, April 16 at 3:00 p.m. at Grace Fellowship Church in Ballinger.
The family would like to express gratitude and thanks to the people of Eden EMS, Concho County Sheriff’s Department, and Lange Funeral Home for the kindness they have shown in our time of need.
Freedom at last, Anna Banana. We love you.
