Earl Nolan Kleypas

November 24, 1937 — February 1, 2016

Earl Nolan Kleypas, 78, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Monday, February 1, 2016 at his residence in Burleson.

He was born November 24, 1937 to Erwin and Helen Mary (Kasburg) Kleypas in Olfen, Texas. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in Rowena, Texas in May 1956. On January 20, 1961, Earl married the love of his life, Doris Elizabeth Weeks, in San Angelo, Texas. They shared fifty five wonderful years together. Earl worked for Grandy Creamery in San Angelo and was a maintence supervisor at Supergrand Dairy in Ft. Worth. He was a member of St. Anns Catholic Church.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Erwin and Helen Kleypas; infant sons, Joseph and Paul Kleypas; father and mother-in-law, Woodrow and Ruth Weeks; brother, Erwin Kleypas, Jr.; sisters and brother-in-law, Gladys Bynum, Eileen and Vernon Glass, and Audrey Schneirs.

He is survived by his chosen love, wife, Doris of Burleson; his daughter, Tammy Guillot and husband, Dusty; granddaughters, Skila Guerrero and Paige Worley; great-grandsons, Aiden, Dominic, Tyler, and Jordan; sisters and brother-in-laws, Annabel and Victor Matsckek, Karla and Fred Sturm of San Angelo, Henry Schniers of Miles; brother-in-law, Donald Weeks and wife, Edna; sisters-in-law, Vernell Kleypas of Rowena and Peggy Tice and husband Ken; and many nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rowena. Following the rosary, Mass will be held at 10:30 am at the church with Fr. Ariel Lagunilla celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Earl loved his family. “Today God called you home. A great man and hard worker that took care of his loved ones, I’ll miss him so, but I know he is at rest and feels no more pain. We love you Dad and we miss you. God has the best Dad, husband, grandpa, and great-grandpa in Heaven.”
