Terrye Wade Organ

Terrye Wade Organ was born to Gentle and Bernice Thomas in Memphis, TN on August 17, 1950. C.W. and Dorothy McLin came into her life in 1965. Thereafter, Terrye enjoyed the blessings of two families for the remainder of her life.


Terrye married Willie Calvin in 1973. Their union raised three sons; Reginald, Corey, and Willie Jr. Terrye made a decision to accept Christ into her life in 1975 and rededicated her life to serving God.
The family moved to Texas on November 11, 1981. Terrye was employed by South Park Development Center, Brownwood High School, and the Texas Youth Commission in Brownwood TX.

Terrye married Charles Organ of Ballinger, TX on December 16, 1994. Terrye and Charles moved to Ballinger, where Terrye resided until her transition to the Promised Land Feb 3, 2016.

Terrye leaves to mourn mother, Dorothy Stennis (Edward); sons, Reginald Perry, Corey Calvin (Lucy), and Willie Calvin Jr. (Carol); twin brother, Barry Thomas (Betty); brother, Joseph Thomas (Sharon); and sisters, Georgia Tyson, Ruth Redden, and Reba Bonner. Fourteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.

Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, February 8, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. Services will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 9, at First United Methodist Church in Ballinger with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
