Wendell Troy Ransbarger

Wendell T. Ransbarger, 69, of Abilene passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016.

He was born December 5, 1946 to Albert and Veneta (Curbo) Ransbarger in San Angelo, Texas. Wendell married Sharon Ragland on February 14, 1970 in Abilene, Texas. He was a line mechanic until retirement. He loved to hunt and fish and was a great “dyed in the wool” country boy.

Wendell was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon of Abilene; his son, Michael Ransbarger of Taylor, Michigan; sisters, Darlene Norwood and Marcy Partusch both of San Angelo; his mother, Veneta Linney of San Angelo; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held form 7-8 pm on Wednesday at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday at Concho Cemetery. Arrangements are with Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger.
