Wanda L. Webb

Wanda L. Webb, 87, of Ballinger, Texas, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016, at Central Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Wanda was born September 18, 1928, in Mount Vernon, Illinois, to Walter and Della (Eldridge) Smith. Wanda graduated from Mount Vernon Township High School in 1947. She married James J. Webb in 1948 and moved to Ballinger with her husband and parents.

She was employed with Fox Midwest Theatres in Mount Vernon until she moved to Texas. She was cashier at the theaters in Ballinger and was also employed at Ethicon in San Angelo for ten years.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie, in 1994, and by her parents.

The funeral service for Wanda Webb will be Monday, June 13, at 6:00 pm at Lange Funeral Home Chapel in Ballinger. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Special thanks are extended to the caring staff of Central Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation, who are Wanda's surviving "family." There are many others in Ballinger who appreciated her friendship and will miss her.
